Sage Dance Company Auditions and News About a Beginners Group for 2013

To be held at Thanet Community Centre, Herbert Street, London NW5 4HD on Wednesday December 5th at 5pm.

For people of 55 and over, preferably with a bit of dance experience, a chance to join Sage Dance Company, who were founded two years ago by former Royal Ballet soloist and choreographer Simon Rice. We are looking to take on some new members to learn existing ballet repertory and to be in a new work that is currently being choreographed.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for the audition such as dance clothes, gym clothes or a tracksuit with ballet shoes, jazz shoes, soft character shoes or some other appropriate soft footwear.

You are welcome to bring a cv and photo with you if you have them, though they are not compulsory, but it would help us if you emailed your details to us prior to the audition day, so that we know you will be attending.

Sage Dance Company currently work on Mondays from 4 to 5 pm near Old Street and on Wednesdays from 5 to 7pm at the Thanet at the audition address as above.

*** Also, we will be starting a new class for beginners and near-beginners early in 2013. Let us know if you, or someone you know, would be interested.

The Thanet Community Centre is very near the junction of Queen's Crescent and Morden Road, about 12 minutes’ walk from Chalk Farm Underground Station (Northern Line) and 10 minutes from Kentish Town West (Overground). For buses (and a good map) go to www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/gettingaround/maps/buses/ and type 'Herbert Street, Camden' in the box.
