The tenth anniversary LGBTI Archives, History and Culture Conference opens up a range of historical and cultural ideas from community projects, academic research, access to archives, international
LGBTI history movements, new writing and theatre. The day is packed with panels, talks, breakouts and workshops.
Speakers / presenters include: Professor Sally Munt of Sussex University; Journalist and Polari founder, Paul Burston and Lonneke van den Hoonaard of IHLIA-Homodok, Amsterdam (LGBT Archive).
Ajamu: Fierce. Guildhall Art Gallery
Conference delegates are invited to a private view and reception from 5pm
Acclaimed London-based photographer Ajamu explores the power of portrait to capture a generation of movers and shakers, whose physical, visible image
may otherwise be lost in the transience of the new virtual world.
FIERCE is a series of portraits of under-35 Black British-born LGBTQ people including, among others, artists, activists, poets and
designers.
