Freelance fee: £3,000 (inclusive of VAT) plus up to £200 expenses
Applications are invited for an Evaluator for the Alexandra Reinhardt
Memorial Award (ARMA) 2013 residency and commission. The ten-week residency
will take place from January to March/April 2013. The artist/s, to be
announced by December 2012, will carry out an education programme with
schoolchildren, young people and/or families and will work closely with
mima¹s Creative Apprentices. The residency will result in a semi-permanent
commission for mima¹s garden to be completed by June/July 2013.
We are looking for an experienced Evaluator with knowledge and experience of
arts education evaluation design and delivery to devise a methodology to
evaluate the ARMA 2013 artist/s residency and commission; collect
quantitative and qualitative data from the artist/s, participants, host,
funder and project partners and funder; and produce an evaluation report.
The evaluation findings will inform future residencies and commissions. A
case study on ARMA 2013 will be published on the engage and ARMA websites. A
publication on the ARMA residencies, drawing on findings from the
evaluation, may be produced.
