Awards: PhD Human Geography & PhD Physical Geography

The School of Environment and Development at the University of Manchester will award up to 10 Postgraduate Research Scholarships for September 2013 entry onto its PhD programmes.

Applications are welcome in areas of Human Geography and Physical Geography. Proposed research topics for Geography entry must clearly correspond to research expertise associated with one of Geography’s four research groups:

Geographical Political Economy

Transforming Cities

Environmental Processes

Quaternary Environments and Geoarchaeology
