Why Poverty? documentary series
Why Poverty? Why does poverty exist? Why have attempts to eradicate it
often failed? Why Poverty? is a global project of 8 documentaries and
30 short films to be broadcast in 72 countries and viewed by millions!
The project team includes the BBC, Steps International and The Open
University. Films will be available free of charge to be used as part
of a wider discussion on poverty issues.  Broadcasting will start on
BBC1 19th November 2012. Go to www.whypoverty.net and
