Haringey Council is holding a public meeting tonight at the Tottenham Green Leisure Centre as part of their consultation on a proposal to close the John Loughborough, Britain's first black Caribbean led secondary school, operated by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
But the Council will be opposed by the Friends and Founder Members of the John Loughborough School (FFMJLS) , who blame them for the educational underachievement of the pupils there.
Attached is their Consultation paper, and a document putting the case against closure.
