Hi Naseem Athena work comes under my role (along with many other things!). I do have an Athena Project Officer to help me coordinate the departmental work, although this is only a one year appointment - I am just waiting to hear if there is a possibility to extend this. Some of the individual STEM departments are also recruiting staff with Athena work as part of their remit. The Athena Project Officer is appointed at FA6 level. The University has an Athena Steering Group, which is chaired by a Pro-Vice Chancellor, and individual STEM departments have their own Athena working groups, of which I am a member of most.
