Subject: Self tests - MHRA messages

Dear All

You may have seen this latest press release from MHRA - http://www.mhra.gov.uk/NewsCentre/Pressreleases/CON207147. I hope that you will recognise the key messages in the fact sheet as the ones that you had already developed.

In addition to the MHRA press release, these messages are being sent out via Facebook and Twitter but more importantly they are also being pushed via key organisations involved in cancer, fertility and sexually transmitted infections who can forward on your messages to people considering purchasing a self test.

This communications plan builds on the messages that you developed and will sit well alongside the previously published advice to Notified Bodies (http://www.mhra.gov.uk/Howweregulate/Devices/Devicesregulatorynews/CON172261).

Thanks again for your expert guidance which initiated both of these important projects

With best wishes

Steve
