WFTV Members Selected for Key UK Production Schemes

[Eva Weber]

WFTV would like to congratulate its members who have recently been selected for some of the UK's key production schemes, including director Esther Richardson, who will be making her debut feature as part of Creative England's iFeatures 2 scheme, and director Eva Weber (pictured) who has been selected for the BFI's shorts scheme.

Speaking of her selection, Eva said "I'm incredibly excited that my short, Field Study, has been selected as one of the 16 BFI shorts and feel massivelyprivileged to be given this opportunity, especially because this is a fiction film and my background is documentaries. I've really enjoyed the experience of working with my producer, Claire Neate-James, and writer, Line Langebek, so far, and can't wait to actually start working with the actors and on set."

A Future of Violence for Ruth and Rachel

[Rachel and Ruth on set]

New WFTV members Rachel Bown-Williams and Ruth Cooper Brown (pictured above) both earn a living through violence..... dramatic violence, that is.

As 2 of only a handful of female Fight Directors in the UK, Rachel and Ruth are proud to have fight co-ordinated 5 UK feature filmsreleased this year. These films contain a variety of dynamic action from the gruesome and harrowing The Seasoning House which received ravereviews after its world premier at Fright Fest, the romantic comedy City Slacker which opened this year's Raindance Film Festival and has been nominated for Best UK Feature, to the period drama Cheerful Weather For The Wedding starring Elizabeth McGovern and Mackenzie Crook which will be available to buy on DVD from the 22nd of October.

To find out more about what they do and to follow R+R's trail of destruction visit their website here<http://www.mmtrack134.co.uk/1/link.php?M=9098727&N=8641&L=10640&F=H>.
