Some members might be interested in a symposium taking place in Birmingham on Thursday November 15th. A one-day event, the symposium will be hearing from representatives of the governments of Jamaica, India and Nigeria about their diaspora policies. In the second session, diaspora organisations representing Indians, Jamaicans and Nigerians abroad will discuss their experiences. In the afternoon, a series of workshops will be held to discuss the contemporary challenges facing the diaspora.
