Initial meeting of Statistics Support and Teaching Discussion Group Friday 9th November 2012, 11:30 - 3.45pm Cost: Free (lunch provided) Please register for this event using the following link: http://www.shef.ac.uk/mash/statistics_support_group One of the outcomes of the statistics support workshop at the recent CETL MSOR conference was to develop a discussion group of interested people who are involved in statistics teaching and support. The purpose of this initial meeting is to consider how the group can facilitate our work. As a starter centralised resources will be demonstrated, along with sharing experiences of statistics support and teaching. There will be plenty of opportunity to begin discussions on the day concluding with ideas for future meetings. Of interest to: Anybody involved in statistics teaching and support or interested in building networks regarding statistics support.
