Dear Melanie,
Sorry about my last flippant email but this item has lightened up my day, ...seriously when I read the link below I wished I could attend but cannot, is it possible for you to point me to a good URL where some or all of this information is available? I have always liked eating dates but for some reason have stopped doing so, but I would like to try them again given their obvious merits I know I can Google it but if you know a good URL with all of this positive information I would be grateful
Best wishes,
Alan

This one was delivered directly to my SPAM folder. Creative headline writing, but the release may end up unread by many of its intended recipients.

The Date in Your Diet

Dates – highly nutritious and more interesting than you may think. Enjoy a lunch based on some of the foods included in the talk while listening to Richard Marshall and Abdollah Ghavami from London Metropolitan University. You will discover more about the varieties, world production and sustainability through such uses as biofuels, powdered date seeds used in flour. Dates are highly nutritious with various health properties and can be incorporated with other foods. Find out about cooking with dates and what foods and drinks they are eaten with.
