On Tuesday 16 October, Eóin Phillips of the University of Cambridge will give a talk entitled, 'Where to place the Arnold/Earnshaw debates? Trials, testimony and travel in the Board of Longitude's relationship with the clock-making trade'. 

The talk is free and will take place on at 5.15pm in the Bedford Room, Institute of Historical Research, University of London, Senate House, London WC1E 7HU.
