Position: Senior Research Assistant, NIHR HTA funded Reviews of Therapeutic Writing for People with Long Term Conditions (LTCs)
Applications are invited for a health services researcher to work on a systematic review of effectiveness, a realist review, and to contribute to an economic model of therapeutic writing for people with LTCs. The project is the result of collaboration between colleagues at Brunel University and the Centre for Primary Care and Public Health (CPCPH) at Barts and The London School of Medicine. The post-holder will be based in CPCPH in London, UK.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent in epidemiology or a related health research field and experience in systematic reviewing, data analysis, qualitative research and health research writing. Knowledge of the cognitive and emotional aspects of health would be desirable.

Position: Post Doctoral Research Assistant
Applications are invited for this new post based in the expanding, multidisciplinary Centre for Primary Care and Public Health (CPCPH). The main focus of your work will be on systematic reviews of the literature to support an NIHR funded research programme aiming to promote smoking cessation in local pharmacies and to underpin development of a 'personalised medicine' intervention for tobacco dependence. This will involve conventional Cochrane reviews, genetic systematic reviews and an individual patient data meta analysis. The post-holder will be based in CPCPH in London, UK.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent in a biological science, pharmacy or a related subject or be close to completing one.  They should have experience in systematic reviews and in primary care, health services or pharmacy research and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team, analysing data and writing academic papers.
