Michael, I have an outstanding ticket connected to item statutes. I was shown a handy way of checking the metadata that comes across to Aspire including the availability information. The book 3ds max modelling is bookmarked on one of our lists: http://resourcelists.kent.ac.uk/items/15F222A5-6E38-29CE-FBD1-9B6ADD8DFBF0.html It has the LCN (001) number in our LMS: 845818 https://catalogue.kent.ac.uk/Record/845818/Details#tabnav If you use this number within this URL you can check the metadata in Aspire including the status code that is returned (holding section at the end of the XML): http://resourcelists.kent.ac.uk/catalog/records/845818 This might not resolve your problem, but it might help map the status codes to Aspire availability info. Cheers, Andy From: Talis Aspire Users [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Dunne, Michael Sent: 10 October 2012 16:57 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Withdrawn copies showing in Aspire Hi We wonder what other Aleph customers do when withdrawing items in their systems. We use Aleph's withdrawn status functionality to mark an item as withdrawn, and this keeps the item out of the catalogue and Primo. But the Aspire API still sees the withdrawn item as an available copy. Is the only answer to delete the item in Aleph? Cheers, Michael.
