The Retired Members Guild of CILIP is holding its Christmas Lunch on Tuesday Dec 4th, 12 for 12.30pm at Burleigh Court, the 4* hotel on Loughborough University campus. RMG is an organisation set up to enable retired librarians to keep in touch with each other, to participate in activities and to assist CILIP in its promotion of libraries of all types. All members of CILIP, whether retired or not, may join the Guild. The current subscription is just £10 per annum and includes Post-Lib, published at least 3 times per year. Non-members of CILIP may also join, as Associate Members. The Christmas Lunch is always a very convivial occasion and all retired/retiring members, partners and friends are very welcome. A 3-course menu with vegetarian option, including wine and coffee, is £22.50. Accessible car parking is close to the hotel door and for those arriving by train there is a bus to the campus and a taxi rank.
