If interested, please contact Prof. Gill Rye as soon as possible and no later than 11th October: [log in to unmask] Best wishes, Adalgisa Giorgio ---------------------------------- The second workshop of the The AHRC-funded interdisciplinary and cross-cultural 'Motherhood in Post-1968 European Literature Network' will be on the topic of 'Mothering and Work: Employment Trends and Rights'. It will take place on 26th October 2012 at the IGRS, University of London. There are some places available, at a fee of £15, for colleagues and postgraduates from any discipline who have an interest in the topic. The workshop will focus on the relationship between mothering and paid work in a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary context. It aims to identify specific problem areas relating to this relationship in Europe, asking what kinds of insights literature may offer to the issues raised. (There may be some funding available for those travelling from Europe, though unfortunately not from the UK.)
