Be also aware that the data can be poorly located and you will
have to spend some time sorting it out. It does depend on the particular
contributor but there can be a lot of items within the area of one 6 fig
NGR!
I put our DoB data in years ago but there are still DoB sites that I
can't identify with certainty. APs can be good for locating things and lots of
pillboxes are shown on the 1960s and 70s OS 1:2500 maps.

Dear Sophie,
When you view the online data, please be aware that there are two
sections, there are the anti-invasion files, and the non anti-invasion files.
The hard copies, including very many photos that are not online are held at the
English Heritage Archive, Swindon.

Dear
All
Can I ask you all to cast your minds
back to the Defence of Britain survey. I’m trying to get hold of the whole of
the DoB survey for East Sussex, any ideas where
I could get this from? Equally I would like to have it in digital format (I
realise this may be a bit hopeful).
Any help
appreciated.
Best
wishes
Sophie
