Hmm, we have taken the decision to post recorded all academic certs – in the past we have tried various methods, including student collection (hard if students
at uni and then forget, then you run out of storage space), and posting standard 2nd class mail (quite a few losses only discovered years later by learners).
Posting all recorded is time consuming (and costly) but hopefully a more reliable way of ensuring the certificates get to the learner or at least get returned
to us if addresses change without our knowledge. Or, failing return, I’d like to think there’s some compensation offered by Royal Mail.
We do, however, have a disclaimer on our results slips which states that learners have to ensure the college holds the correct address for certificate delivery
in approximately 3 months’ time.

Hi everyone
Please could you help us with an issue we have, at the moment we don’t post out GCSE and AS/A2 certificates because the awarding bodies especially AQA will not issue replacements.
We ask the students to come and collect them from The Exams Office after we have written to them to tell them we have the certificate here. If they don’t collect them by a certain date then we will post them out but take no responsibility if it goes missing
in the post.
We are moving offices next week and will need to make arrangements for 11/12 certificates which are due in very soon.
