Hmm, we have taken the decision to post recorded all academic certs - in the past we have tried various methods, including student collection (hard if students at uni and then forget, then you run out of storage space), and posting standard 2nd class mail (quite a few losses only discovered years later by learners). Posting all recorded is time consuming (and costly) but hopefully a more reliable way of ensuring the certificates get to the learner or at least get returned to us if addresses change without our knowledge. Or, failing return, I'd like to think there's some compensation offered by Royal Mail.
