At the University of Aberdeen we have been using graduate attributes to guide and plan the development of teaching to ensure that UoA students develop and achieve the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for graduates in today's complex global employment market. Our approach at Aberdeen is to embed graduate attributes in the course design approval process.

Linked to the above development I have been asked by academics to introduce the concept of graduate attributes to students. As the subject matter is quite dry I've tried to engage students by using the student response system to pose questions and encourage discussion in the sessions. I'm just wondering if anyone has any other ideas, either for a one or two hour interactive graduate attribute workshop. In addition to this, have you any ideas about how to introduce in an innovative and engaging way, the concept of graduate attributes in a small group tutorial.
