Dear Critical Terrorism Studies Working Group (CSTWG) members,

BISA is holding its next annual conference in Birmingham, 20th-21st June 2013. The theme is 'Beyond the Ivory Tower: IR and the Real World', and the call for papers is here: http://bisa.ac.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=203&Itemid=144

BISA working groups have been allocated two guaranteed panels, and can submit up to three more for consideration in the 'open competition'. In previous years the CSTWG has had a lot of success securing panels in this way. Its also a very good option for getting your panel accepted to BISA, so please do consider it.

Proposed panels should have a maximum of four papers and a discussant, or five papers with no discussant, within the 1 hour 30 minute slot. Please note that this year BISA is limiting delegates to one paper presentation (and three appearances overall) and there are strict penalties for no-shows. But please read the full panel submission guidelines here: http://bisa.ac.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=219&catid=35&Itemid=144

If you are interested please send a panel title and description, paper titles and abstracts, and contact details for participants to Charlotte Heath-Kelly ([log in to unmask]), Lee Jarvis ([log in to unmask]) or Chris Baker-Beall ([log in to unmask]). We will rank the panels and notify the successful organizers in time for online submission to BISA by the deadline of Monday 3rd December.

Best wishes,
Charlotte, Lee & Chris
