Hi Jennifer

On the CD ROM dimensions, I started at 3.5.1.3 recording measurements for discs in cms, but then saw the LCPS 3.5.1.4.4 with practice of recording diameter of discs in inches, which I then abbreviated to in. based on B.7

Here are some of our thoughts on this one:

Dimensions of the CD-ROM – we used cm (as per 3.5.1.3), but there is the alternative rule to use “the system of measurement preferred by the agency preparing the description” – we’d be interested to know if some of you are using inches because you prefer them and if so why?

33xs – we found it hard to decide whether to assume the CD-ROM content was text or something else. We’d be interested to hear what others think about this. Also, if we have two 336s for text are they both necessary or not?

We don’t usually input any companion websites and if we did at present they would not display to users, but it’s very interesting to see some of you treating it as a related work/expression.
