I had this debate the other day when doing a couple of books in our special collections (not rare ones) - maybe I just didn't fancy a lot of typing! We do the "chapter title / author name. - chapter title / author name. - " format based on ISBD punctuation. (After a lot of online discussion and help!) then add the authors as authorities to the system, then add them as 700a's to the record. Does take quite a long time...
