To celebrate Black History Month, Staffordshire University’s Students Union African Caribbean Society have organised a number of events
which are open to students, staff and local communities. All events are being supported by the Equality and Diversity Unit and further details can be found below: • Thursday 4th October – (6.30pm- 8.00pm) Debate about the topical issues affecting young black students at University. Venue – The September Room, SULU Building • Wednesday 10th October – (6.00 – 7.30pm) Cultural dance workshop (Venue TBC) • Saturday 13th October – Coach trip to the Slavery Museum in Liverpool – Cost £3 • Monday 20th October – 2 Funny for TV – a comedy show (7.30pm- 11.00pm). Venue: LRV.
