Dear Colleagues,

I have a patient attending with a fixed belief that he has gadolinium poisoning following a radiology procedure. He is apparently a firm believer in alternative medicine. He is also attending a neurologist who feels that messurement of gadolinium levles may assist in easing his concerns. He has already had a range of metals measured at a laboratory in germany that support his belief ( following a chelating agent) as it found high levels of copper, iron, and gadolinium in his urine.

Does anybody provide a service for the measurement of gadolinium, preferably within the NHS, and what are the arrangements for sampling and cost etc.

Regards,

Michael Ryan

GADOLINUM LEVELS?

Can they be measured?

How much does it cost to measure the levels?

Yours

Tom
