How often to you get the chance to talk about or just learn about public engagement activities related to plants? I am afraid that the answer to this question from many people in science communication will be negative. So why not contribute or just have a look at the Twitter chat about #plantactivities this Friday 21st September between 1-4pm.

Do you have amazing plant activities to share? Whether for schools, families, adults or local communities the Twitter chat is the place to pick up new ideas and share yours. The chat is a chance to share the experiences of your site, quick and easy activities and pick up some hints and tips.

The event is hosted by BGEN (Botanic Garden Education Network) in the run up to the 2012 conference on the same subject; 101 (amazing) things to do with plants - there's still time to book for the conference before the early bird rate finishes. Host twitter feed @bgenNetwork and @heritageinsider

I hope you will enjoy this opportunity!
