Please see below for details regarding the Global Women's Research Conference (Liverpool) on 23 October.

The 1st GLOW (Global Women’s) research conference will be held on the 23rd October in Liverpool. The aim is for academics and postgraduate students engaged in Global Maternal Health to share their work, build collaborations and hear updates from prominent international speakers. The 4 keynote speeches will interspersed with oral presentations recently selected from over 70 submitted abstracts. There will be a poster display available for viewing on the day during coffee and lunch breaks.

“Gates strategies for reducing maternal mortality”

Edward Fottrell  [UCL Institute for Global Health]
“Community interventions to improve delivery outcomes”

Beverly Winikoff [President of Gynuity Health Projects, USA]
“Can we make universal access to safe abortion a reality?"


The conference will take place at Carnatic House in Liverpool. North Mossley Hill Road, Liverpool, Merseyside L18 8DG



Fees: £100 (standard rate) or £50 for full time registered students
