The East of England Information Services Group is running a course which will take place on Thursday 27 September at Bury St Edmunds Central Library.  The programme is:-

9.30 - 10.00 a.m. Registration/Coffee
10.05 - 10.50 a.m - Maintaining the quality of information (Karen Blakeman)
10.50 - 11.05 am. Coffee
11.05 - 11.50 - Providing a service with fewer people, and using volunteers (Sue Clements) 
11.50 - 12.10 p.m. AGM
12.15 - 1.15 p.m. Lunch
1.15 - 2.00 - The use of volunteers in the National Trust, both in their libraries and on a more general level (Yvonne Lewis Assistant Libraries Curator at the National Trust) 
2.00 - 2.45 - The publisher’s viewpoint maintaining information integrity. (speaker from Proquest Dialog)
2.45 - 3.00 - Tea
3.00 - 3.30 - A discussion session on sharing best practice, with a panel chaired by Sally Blows.
3.30 - 3.45 - Round up 

The cost of the day is £25.00 plus VAT.  Lunch and refreshments are included.
