      Dear Colleagues

About a year ago I gave a talk about what I labelled the "six myths" of
EBLIP. I am sure that there are more than 6 but I only had 60 minutes to
talk!
If you can think of any more "myths of EBLIP" I would be very grateful
and will happily add them to my list. For the record my six are:
1. "*EBLIP is the Triumph of Scientific Rationality over Individual
Initiative and Enthusiasm"*.
2. "*The Librarian Always Knows Best"
3. *"We Don't Need to be a Research-Based Profession*"
4. *"There are Better Alternatives to Evidence Based Practice"
5. *"We Must Adopt Evidence Based Practice Exactly as it is"
6. "A*dvocates of EBLIP are simply jumping on the nearest propitious
vehicle (whether bandwagon or gravy train!)"
****

I feel a mini-series coming on!
