Hayle bid to host archive is rejected | This is Cornwall

HAYLE'S bid to become the home of a new multimillion-pound county archive has failed after Redruth was chosen as the preferred site by Cornwall Council.

In the past few weeks it was announced that Redruth's old brewery site was the favoured location for the new Cornwall records office.
