Important Notice from the Icon Book & Paper Group Committee The Book and Paper Group Committee has been notified of a proposal to merge the two existing versions of the Journal of the Institute of Conservation<http://icon.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=10&Itemid=11>, such that all future issues will be multidisciplinary rather than one being dedicated to books and paper. The Board of Trustees has expressed its support for the proposal and has put together a task force to study the options for the future of the Journal. The committee is obviously concerned about the impact on the Book and Paper Group membership.
