Queensland Government Digital Continuity Strategy

Last year, Queensland State Archives sought feedback on a digital continuity strategy for the Queensland Government. QSA is now pleased to advise the strategy has been finalised and published on Queensland State Archives’ website at http://www.archives.qld.gov.au/Recordkeeping/DigitalContinuity/Pages/Default.aspx.

The Queensland Government Digital Continuity Strategy sets out strategic activities and principles to guide a consistent approach to ensuring the continued accessibility of digital records throughout their life, in the context of ongoing technology obsolescence. Following this release, Queensland State Archives will develop over the coming years a program of work to implement the strategy.
