Dear all, The annual conference of the Scottish Records Association will take place on Saturday 10th November in the Renfield Centre, Bath St, Glasgow. This year's conference is titled, 'Travellers' Tales: Scottish Diaries and Journals'. The speakers and topics are: Olive Geddes: 'Stephen Place's journal: a footman's visit to Sutherland in 1832'; Dr Anne MacLeod: 'Painting time: the Highland journals of John Francis Campbell of Islay'; Lesley Ferguson: 'The excursions of Erskine Beveridge'; Carol Parry: 'Journals of George Buchanan MD'; Dr Maria Castrillo: 'Scots abroad: an emigrant's journey across the Otago district'; Dr Anna Groundwater 'On the road with Ben Jonson in Scotland, 1618'.
