The Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry Professor in Statistics The Centre for Health and Environmental Statistics Senior Manager Scale Ref: A2851 Plymouth University is investing £25m to improve healthcare research in its Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. Expansion of the Centre for Health and Environmental Statistics (CHES) is a key part of this development and we are seeking to appoint at Professorial level to contribute to the leadership and strategic management of the CHES. You will need to have a strong academic record of high impact publications, external funding and research management. You will also need to have experience of successfully supervising and developing teams of researchers. Some experience of teaching and consultancy is desirable. A good grounding in statistical theory, methodology and computing is required. Attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to communicate statistical ideas to non-statisticians are essential.
