My client is a global pharmaceutical company who are looking to expand their existing UK biostatistics department and are able to offer the position of junior statistician.

Responsibilities

 

·         Assists senior biostatisticians in writing statistical analysis plans, including derived data sets, and the design of statistical tables, figures, and data listings for clinical summary reports.

·         Writes data quality control specifications for projects as needed.

·         Participates in presentations at client and investigator meetings.

·         Write statistical methodology sections of individual protocols under supervision.

·         Liaises with Data Management staff on database creation, edit check specifications, data quality and query resolution

 

 

Requirements

 

    • Must be degree educated (I.E MSc biostatistics, statistics or maths)
    • Solid understanding of clinical trials 
    • Good knowledge of EMEA/FDA and ICH regulations
    • Excellent knowledge of clinical drug development
    • Good understanding of SAS
