The article below is obviously written from an IT perspective, but laboratory medicine professionals may be somewhat concerned by Mr Hunt's worrying track record of an apparently over-cosy relationship with multinational capitalists, which strangely has now resulted in promotion rather than being dumped. Bearing in mind the West Coast franchise decision, perhaps he got the job by outpacing Richard Branson disguised as Usain Bolt?
