We had an issue with these methods recently on our Cobas lines. Traditionally all labs in The NE have used P=>L and so did we. This assay is available from Roche in a '502-ready' format. The 702 packs are L=>P. As a result it's necessary to have a separate aliquot when a general chemistry request includes LDH. We do a lot of work for the haematology clinics and the unavailability of the P => L assay in a 702 format is inconvenient.
