Dear Zooarchers,

I'm having some trouble identifying a bone, and I would be very grateful for some opinions on what it might be.

It's a small calcined bone from an Etruscan site near Florence in Italy. At first I thought it might be bird quadrate, but I cannot seem to find a species that matches it. It doesn't appear to be broken or damaged in any way.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Angela
