Hi Haskel,

The worked bone literature for the Bronze Age is very thin. You may want to refer to my forthcoming paper and its bibliography:

Allentuck, A. in press. Raw Material Availability and Technological Choice: Modified Metapodia from an Early Bronze Age Site in Central Israel. International Journal of Osteoarchaeology.

Otherwise, most worked bone data are found in chapters/appendices in site monographs. For example,
Marshall, D. N. 1982. "Jericho Bone Tools and Objects," in Excavations at Jericho. Volume Four: The Pottery Type Series and Other Finds. Edited by K. M. Kenyon and T. A. Holland, pp. 570-622. London: British School of Archaeology in Jerusalem.
Cristiani, E. 2008. "Notes on Bone Tools for Textile Production," in Tell Abu al-Kharaz in the Jordan Valley. Volume I: The Early Bronze Age. Edited by P. M. Fischer, pp. 401-403. Wien: Verlag der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften.

Let me know if you can't access my paper through and I'll happily send a PDF.

Cheers,
Adam

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has references that give frequencies for bone tool/ornaments in Bronze Age Near Eastern assemblages? Any pdfs would be appreciated too.
