What threshold did you applied?

Usually, a (more) lenient threshold may result in confluent clusters; and a (more) stringent one helps you to separate locations.

Subject: [SPM] Cluster seems incorrect. (Clusters of activation which should be separated are combined in one cluster)

Dear all

Result of some image file yield incorrect cluster. In my attached screenshot, activation right inferior temporal gyrus and those in cerebellum should be separated. But when I selected the peak voxel in right inferior temporal gyrus, resulting cluster includes large area containing both temporal gyrus and cerebellum. (it is easily shown when use xjview cluster view option)

I wonder how SPM separates cluster and how I can fix it.

Thank you

Sincerely,

Misun
