A suggestion:
In the Ox-appendices it is described how to call Ox from C. I suppose that calling C from Java is applied regularly (just Google for it). So Java calling C calling Ox could be a solution.
Of course, in the same line it must be possible to call Ox directly from Java. You need to know then how the arguments are transferred. Maybe the calling-Ox-from-C and calling-C-from-Java code provide a clue to that. There must be people around who know that exactly.

Tanks a lot for your answer but indeed, what I am looking for is the opposite: we have a Java interface and would like to execute Ox code from this interface.
Do you have any suggestion ?

With this package you can develop a Java-based GUI environment for your Ox program.
Note that with this system you don’t call encapsulated Ox functions from a Java program, which may be what you intend. You do all your coding in Ox, with OxJapi functions creating and controlling the Java screen objects.
For an application, see http://www.timeseriesmodelling.com/. We use an updated and extended version, Oxjapi2, which uses the Java Swing environment. Let me know if you are interested in this.
