I am trying to use loadmat() to load a .mat file which I saved from a previous program. This file storing a 7200 by 22000 matrix is 3.88 GB. I got an error message saying "Runtime error: out of memory". But my computer still has more than 12 GB memory available. If you could give me any suggestion, I would appreciate it very much.
