 The University of Warwick is excited to announce the next two workshops in
the Evaluating Impacts of Non-Formal Learning & Public Engagement Seminar
Series. These training workshops will focus on developing participants’
confidence and capabilities evaluating impact using qualitative and
quantitative research methods.  These workshops are filling up quickly
(places are particularly limited for these intensive workshop events) and
we would like to include you!

*An Intensive 1-day Training Seminar in Advanced Qualitative Evaluation
Research Methods *****

Summary:****

This intensive one-day training seminar identifies thecutting edge
principles required for the highest possible quality qualitative evaluation
research. Particular focus in this training seminar will be focused on
qualitative data analysis. This seminar will include practical workshop
activities aimed at developing advanced skills in qualitative impact
evaluation.****

*Intensive 2-day Training Seminar in Advanced Quantitative Evaluation
Research Methods (3rd and 4th September 2012, University of Warwick)*****

Summary:****

This intensive two-day training seminar covers the state of the art in
quantitative evaluation in public engagement and non-formal learning
settings. The training seminar is aimed at people with some prior
familiarity with evaluation, who would like to gain more advanced practical
knowledge and skills in quantitative approaches to evaluation. The seminar
will include practically-oriented presentations, as well as workshop
activities to develop relevant skills, particularly in evaluation design
and analysis. The workshop activities include a very gentle introduction to
SPSS and statistical analysis will take place in an on-campus computer lab
pre-loaded with the software.
