In reply to Eloise and Natalie, I’m a one-woman band here at Swansea Met – no writing centre, no drop-in centre, just me delivering workshops and struggling to get the idea of writing workshops into the culture of the uni. I tried a blog, set up through Moodle, but like Natalie, I felt I was blogging into the ether, since it engendered no comments in reply. I have a website (just getting going) and a Moodle site, the former in lieu of a physical centre and this coming year I’m going to try Twitter.

 

In reply to Micky and the recent debate on the EATAW list serve: I’m isolated here, so for me, the blog and the list serve are an invaluable source of contact with other people working in the field and a place to share and gather ideas and put out questions.
