This individual will complement an existing team and provide a significant contribution to the day-to-day delivery and future strategic development programmes. In particular, this will involve providing input around social and disability theory, practice and research. The programme works together with a Partnership Steering Group of learning disabled colleagues. Experience of supervising students through to successful completion of their studies is essential. It is anticipated that the person appointed will have the experience and expertise to take a leading role for one year of the three-year UG programme and participate in delivery across all other years. Additionally, the appointed person must have the potential to develop their own research interests in line with the programme strategy and the willingness to contribute to both national and international dialogues and debates about these areas. This post is fixed term for three years.
