Hi folks

Something a bit different

Here is some excellent place based humour (we all need a laugh now and then)

Mark Steel is a UK based left leaning comic of some distinction. His latest book and BBC radio series, Mark Steel’s in Town, is a series of talks about a small town he has researched, recorded live with local audiences, highlighting both historical and geographical local quirks.

It very funny and a great perspective on place (fun for students?)

Details of the book are at

People in UK might find some of the shows on the BBC Radio website

Cheers
