Thank you for the replies. The HMC device does look interesting although
way too big for my particular patient, who has Duchenne's MD. My patient
can use a trackerpad successfully with a small amount of movement with
minimal pressure of his index finger. The mounting of the mini-joystick
from HMC is a tricky business when close to the body and I'm not a great
fan of this one due to it's expense, delicate nature and what happens
over the slightest bump in the pavement etc.

Hi,

Has anyone seen or used a touchpad type control for a powered
wheelchair, ie something proportional with very light touch with small
movements? I know Dynamics had a small finger pot thing but would be
concerned about liquid ingress.
