Dear Colleagues

Highlights of EQAS 2012 - Edinburgh - Day Two - Tuesday September 25th

The theme of Day Two of the meeting is Steroid Hormones and New Technologies. Updates on international initiatives on standardisation and harmonisation will be followed by The Great Debate: Purism vs Pragmatism, with Jonathan Middle and Linda Thienpont taking on Bill Fraser and Julian Barth. Make your voice heard at this lively session!

In the afternoon, expert speakers will consider investigation of the hypertensive patient, analytical and clinical aspects of vitamin D measurement, and interpretative quandaries for the duty biochemist, and there will be an insider's view of how colleagues in diagnostics companies respond to complaints.

Full details and speaker biographies are available on the meeting website at www.eqas2012.org.uk - on-site accommodation is rapidly filling up so do remember to register as soon as possible.

With best wishes to all

Cathie Sturgeon

[On behalf of the EQAS 2012 Organising Committee]
