I am getting ready to analyze a data set of individuals who have done cognitive training. I have a pre-training structural and a post-training structural for each person, for an active group and a placebo group.
I've been doing some reading, and realize that there may be some change I need to make to my usual VBM processing stream in order to see differences for each individual in pre vs post.
It appears that I can do everything up to segmentation the same (including both the pre and post structurals), but then when it comes to the normalization process, I should alter this, and potentially use the normalization parameters for the pre group on the post group (lest I lose the differences)?
Does that sound right?
Does anyone have experience using VBM in a pre/post desion or papers that people recommend reading?
